Kanye West may have been dropping hints about his love for Kim Kardashian on past songs and we didn’t even know it. According TMZ, Yeezy’s verse on Keri Hilson‘s 2009 song ‘Knock You Down’ was about his boo Kimmy.

On the song, Kanye raps about his dream woman and urges that she dumps her football-playing boyfriend. Kanye’s line goes, “You was always the cheerleader of my dreams / You seem to only date the head of football teams / And I was the class clown that always kept you laughing / We were never meant to be baby we just happened.” Later in the song, Kanye tells her, “You should leave your boyfriend now.” TMZ believes that Kanye was talking about Kim who was dating NFL footballer Reggie Bush at the time. So it’s plausible that Kanye had a crush on Kimmy since 2009.

Meanwhile, Gawker‘s fact-checking team decided to sift through West’s discography and found some more “could-be” references to the reality-star beauty. On 2007′s ‘Stronger,’ West raps, “Since OJ had Isotoners,” which could be in reference to the 1995 O.J. Simpson murder trial in which Kim’s father, Rob Kardashian, was one of Simpson’s defense attorneys. On 2010′s ‘Power,’ West spits, “Reality is catchin’ up with me,” which could be a reference to the Kardashian family’s E! reality series.

All of this sounds too far-fetched for us believe, but who knows how long KimYe have been putting off their love for each other.
